catching live bait

hi all ,how is everyone? im good ,going fishing on thursday . making my 1st trip to the mouth of the brissie river.can any one tell me where i can catch live bait like herring/poddies etc.will be fishing mud island if the weather is good or the shipping wharves/rock walls etc.i made a post earlier but i think it was in the wrong section:laugh cheers will

try along the rock wall or even luggage point there is normally mullet around there

Its the point pretty much opposite fishermans island. Where the sewage works outlet is.
