Blooded the yak today

Went for a go in the salt today, put the yak in at 19th Ave and drifted down to Talle slowly with the tide.

Mainly flicking 3" Armor shads towards the weed banks and was rewarded with 7 of these little fellas.

No size to any of em, but still good to get the first fish on board.

Will hitting up Coomera next week.

Good to see the yak has some mojo for you with the Flatties, kayak fishing can be tricky at first and you tend to wonder what you've got yourself into but it all works out in the end and it becomes second nature.
