pause for a second

Had an rdo today and decided to hit the coast first up for a rare doughnut :pinch: the trevs were there but not interested in my offerings, so i headed home to drop the boat off and throw the yak in for a fresh arvo chasin bass. i set off in the yak and decided to give the fishing mania lure range a whirl, first up i put on a Reaction Strike AC-55 in pumpkin

seed and set off casting it, first cast just the standard constant retrieve for nothing, second cast i tried the pause every 3 seconds for a second or 2, the lightest take on the pause before all hell broke loose.. :woohoo: a great battle within the timber and land a great bass going 55cm..

things looked good with a different technique and it proved its self 17 more times for the AC-55. A mixture of casting and trolling between snags proved its worth.. Great action on this h/b.

I switched over to a Reaction Strike XV-65 in sexy colour and started casting with lift and let drop slowly retrieve, a few casts in and the bass start smacking the vibe.

i landed 4 bass on the XV-65 before clipping on the XV-55 in American shad. first cast and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz a nice 52cm bass is yak side,

i managed another 8 bass on the 55mm vibe. So all up 30 bass for an rdo arvo session to redeem myself from the morning efforts. And now am a fan of the pause every 3 secs for a second or 2...

30 Bass that's a cracking session mate, the pic of you and the Bass looks awesome :woohoo:

Glad to see the AC55's & XV55's doing the damage, we're hoping to have these in the shop in the coming weeks :) !!!!

Looking forward to adding them!

well done wes and awesome fish. Ill be using the same 55's fishing for jacks next weekend and might just try that tactic!
