Sand Pumping Jetty

Am thinking of trying out the Sand Pumping Jetty after I drop the missus off at work tomorrow morning. Anyone been there lately?

Is it worth taking the SP gear, or stick with pilchards and squid on a big rod ?

Mate was down there Tuesday morning last week the tailer were on right at the end but you couldnt get near there for the regulars he said the prawn season must be over and they have moved to the jetty.He ended up with 7 tailer he caught off the beach said it was a waste of money going on jetty. Said it looks like they camp out there.

Was on the beach near there on Saturday, not a damn tailor sighted, wall to wall fisherman to. I should have gone freshwater:(
