The Damiki Fish Of The Month for February is: Barramundi!

How to submit Entries:- Entries must be received by 8pm on the last day of each month. Entries must be in the format shown below (a good idea would be to copy and paste and then fill out for your catch).

**Please provide photos showing whole fish and angler with fish** .

Please ensure your measure photo is clear and accurate as it could easily be decided by mm's!

Where Caught: near mouth of Barr creek, Machans beach, Cairns

When: 12:01PM 01 Feb 2012

Size: Length (overall) 83cm

Weight: dunno

Caught on a live yabby (meant for a salmon) in shallow water on a size 4 long shank hook, 30lb leader and 8lb main line. Don't know if this entry is legit as didn't realise barra was FOTM till I got home, had kept the fish so took a scaled and gutted shot in the garage with hand signal. If its not legit no worries.

When: 9PM 15 Feb 12

Size: Length (overall) 83.5cm

Weight: dunno

Caught on an unwieghted live prawn drifted amongst the wharf pylons on Shimano TCurve 37kg Deep Jig rod, Okuma Catalina overhead, 24kg braid and 80lb leader. Only got it because ran out from the wharf rather than under.

Cant see any other completitors so looks like the FNQ barra slayer may just take out the prize!
