Stickies for fishing socials?

I thought the sticky for the Tuna social was a great source of info for a first time Tuna angler, although I didn't catch anything I felt comfortable giving it a go as the combined info from everyone was very thorough. I knew what to buy, what rig to use and where to go.

I was wondering if anyone else would find it useful having such stickies per fish species for upcoming socials.

The condensation of info into one thread would be useful for everyone attending the social and would be a one stop source of info for anyone joining AFO later. Although I don't mind searching and researching it is a far more convenient format.

Thanks Tugger for writing up your Snapper guide at the start of the Snapper social thread. I will definitely try to apply the info.

As mods and admin don't read every post I suggest the following -

If there is a post that meets the criteria you describe then hit the Report to Mod button and just state in the report that you think that post should be made a sticky. If it is so we will do so.
