Hi from a Yak Fisherman

Decided to come in and have a look at this site after hearing reports on it from other yakers.

Must say I'm impressed at the content and the info available here. It's certainly a great looking siteB)

I own a 445 Hornet and since taking up fishing from the yak I have not used it, it's sad but it just shows you how good yak fishing can be. It allows me to get to the same spots as in my boat but the yak allows me into skinnier water, also with the advantage of stealth.

Also a thrill to see their is a yak fishing category here on the site as well. Pleasing to know this site is moving with the trends.

So far Tim, A 48cm Yellowbelly from Wivenhoe and a few 48cm Bass from Ewan Maddock, also a 36cm Bream from Pumistone Passage all caught on lures/plastics.

I never use bait.
