Where should i buy a battery?

Hi guys, i will be picking up my JW44lb electric this week and need to get a suitable battery, where is the best place to go?

I was thinking battery world but i can also get 5% off at dicksmith so i was wondering if they sell a suitable battery?

Any help will be appreciated.

oh, and any advice on where to get a charger form would help too!

Forget Dick Smith. If they have one, it will be a lot more than Battery world.

Battery world can flog you a charger, but I'd recommend Ebay, you should be able to get a quality 3 stage charger brand new on Ebay for about half to 3/4 the price of what it will cost you in the shop.(You can get very good deals on batteries on Ebay as well, but it can take a while, as there are not a lot of sellers of new batteries)

Battery world are pretty reputable, tel them what you need the battery for, how long your going to use it etc etc, and they should be able to recommend a suitable size.

If you are interested in Ebay, here are a couple of sellers that might interest you. (Remember be careful, it is easy to pay as much or more on Ebay, compare your prices with Battery world or similar!)

I got one of the 15amp units for about $190, comparable price in shops was over $300.

(Rough rule of thumb, charger should be capable of outputing about 10% of the batteries rated amps to ensure you get a good charge overnight)

You can do better deals than this bloke, he just happened to be the only one in my favourites with chargers currently for sale.

(This bloke also has the chargers) dunno what his prices are like, I get my batteries second hand. Be very careful of freight charges for Batteries on Ebay.

I,ve heard they Have factory seconds etc fairly cheap (cosmetic seconds batteries are good) they have deep cycle and marine
