Here's a clue.

Gonefishin just joined the site and posted his thread \"New to this forum\"

When I looked at the thread (almost as soon as it was posted) it said the viewers were me, gonefishin and guest.

I posted a reply then went straight to gonefishin's profile, clicked on forum posts which revealed 1 hit on his post.

I assume I counted as that 1 hit.

So maybe the \"guest\" that is appearing is either the thread starter or a new member that the system hasn't had time to identify?? Or maybe it's just the thread starter where the thread starter is a new member?? :blink:

Of more serious concern is you going 'straight to his profile'. Well atleast the heat is off me for a while then :-)
