What is a sx40

A awesome little lure :)

who make them

EcoGear - buy at Amart, BCF, fishing stores...

what fish are they best used for

Anything and Everyhting - Bream love them, bass love them, even heard of poeple getting whiting on them!!

My favourite color pattern is a silver/holographic rainbow patern with a clear brown top.. unbeatable!!

Here is their site http://www.marukyu.com/eng/ecogear/premium_hb/sx40f_oz.html

I have caught Bream, Flathead, Moses Perch and Pike (the australian type). They are probably the most common hard bodied lure used in the ABT Bream Tournaments.

They cost between $15-$22 depending on what type you buy and where you buy them from. $17.75 from BCF. They come in a range of 3 sizes SX40, SX48 and SX60.

Yeap was reluctant to buy them at first due to price. But you can often find them on special. Still easily my most successful lure (hardbody anyway). I have caught lots of fish in both Salt and fresh. Its an awesome lure for bream in particular. Cast it up against some pilons and good luck!!

I went to Doug Burts on the GC and picked up my 1st SX40. I was a bit disoppointed in the rages of colours and the price. The new stock is $22.95 and the old stock is $17.95. Here's what I ended up getting.

I caught a tumper last trip to NP on the large gold slugs. I got the last 2 so note Aaron one's yours mate.;)

How about the little cranks - they look sweet, hope they work.
