got my sol (2000) today.

Matched it with a Berkley Dropshot Pro Tactic 2-4 kg

IM8 graphite blank, Fuji SIC guides, Fuji IPS reel seat, deluxe cork grips.

reel is spooled with 4lb fireline crystal.

oh kevin, do remember it's FW only yea. That reel has a raw aluminium body, so DO NOT let it get into contact with saltwater. The aluminium oxide that results makes the reel look horrible. after using it, if you're storing it, put it in a nice zip lock baggie and get as much air out of the bag as possible before you seal it, coz even leaving it out in the open will cause the reel to tarnish.

dont drop it either. we've had a few customers crack the plastic sideplate from accidental knocks and drops.

the reel looks so sweet, kiara, i just cannot convice myself putting it on the reel seat, hehe

i will treat it nice, especially when i saw the clear sideplate...what a delicate toy
