Zerek shrimp

Has anyone had any success with Zerek shrimp or cheribain with Yellowbelly, bass or cod? And What techniques used if any luck?

I haven't seriously given them a go but I may or may not have a variety of shrimp style offerings including zereks that I will try this weekend at Winter Camp.

The method in my madness is that basically every live shrimp you soak turns into a Bass from previous experience.

I will be basically dead-sticking with a couple of subtle hops whilst imbibing on beverages brewed with subtle hops...

I've used the Savage Gear shrimp with success. Caught Bass while bait fishing from the boat with live shrimp. I just had one of the rods with the Savage Gear shrimp on it, rigged the same as the live shrimp. A bit of scent helps

We found that the savage shrimp is more flexable than the zerek, however dont put it with other plastics as I did because the tail melted off.

Either will work when you have a school under the boat as they compete to get the bait before thier mate does, but a little harder on single bass.

+1 for savage gear, however I prefer the 'manic shrimp' soft plastic shrimps for bass. Rig them backwards like a fleeing shrimp on a light jighead and the bass can't resist!
