queensland Quick Caboolture River Report 13/09/2014

Howdy!

Went out early for a trip on the Caboolture river for some bread and butter

Put in at low 5:30ish, pumped yabbies and dug worms.

Action was pretty good all day considering it was a car park. There was probably the most amount of boats I've seen out in a while.

Spent a couple hours flicking with another mate to nil results then showed him how successful bait fishing is (and in the same spots we were flicking)

Couldn't see many others hooking up like I was, but fish aren't stupid and you have to work hard to get proper bait.

Ended up with a nice feed, couple fat 30cm whiting and a 30cm bream

It was hot out too, looks like summers back and it's angry. Will need to get the boat ready for mud crabbing soon.

You deserve it after digging worms. Yabbies are easy enough (when you have a pump called Benno lol)

There looked like a space on the side of the plate to fit a muddy.
