sold 2nd year Apprentice seeking to finish apprenticeship

Hi Guys,

I thought i would just put it out there,

My daughters boyfriend works as a 2nd year apprentice Electrician (Nearly 3rd year) and it looks like his boss might be winding the business up, so he is seeking an electrician to finish his apprenticeship with.

He is highly motivated doesn't stop working so from a tradesmans point of view young fella's like this are hard to come by.

This boy knows his stuff and has great marks at TAFE.

He has had 1 sickie in 2 years, always turns up early and can work autonomously.

PM me if you can help this boy out or you know of someone that needs a highly motivated Apprentice.

That's tough for young fella.

You think everything is stable for 4 years when you start your apprenticeship and to have to find a new employer really sucks. He could try the TAFE etc and ask if any the other apprentice's bosses may have excess work and need another hand.

Hope he's placed soon and can get back to secure future.

In the past 2 years since I have been in Brisbane the commercial air conditioning industry has lost 5 of the largest air conditioning installation contractors. It tough across a lot of industries at the moment.

Thanks mate, he still has his job and by the sounds of things he will be one of the last to leave as he still makes good money for the company.

He hasn't been given any notice but he's just doing a little forward planning.

benefit for him is he i snow entering the productive stage of the apprenticeship where the boss can actually make some money off him, so might make it a bit easier. Pity he is not a year ahead, he could try strong arming the boss in to signing him off early.

Yeah Binder, tell me about it.

The poor bugger is so dedicated to staying there he even does letterbox drops and sells solar systems and air conditioners in his own time so his boss can get work coming in the door.

One would hope, if the guy is going to wind up, he would put the word out around his business/supply networks that there would be a good tool becoming available shortly.
