Ocean Kayak

Hey guys,

My dad wants to buy a Kayak for exercise use, riding down the gold coast in the canals and creeks around jacobs well. Not interested in using it for fishing we have a tiny. He is looking at a ocean kayak sprinter or ocean kayak scupper pro. Are you guys familar with these kayaks and if so do you think they will suit his purpose or what would you recommend he buy and where from? We live in logan city.

Yeah, I use an OK Prowler 13, Its a nice kayak to just go out and paddle, or fish from.

You never know, your dad might go out and try fishing in it once... then he'llb e hooked

viking are a great starting point for any yak fisherman especially at there price. the espri and tempo are both great fishing boats when setup right, I caught loads of fish from my tempo and would still have it if I could afford to have 2, it was awesome in the lakes and rivers

I'm not a yak fisherman (well not yet) but I'd want a big stable yak down Goldie with all them Look at me boats roaring around :woohoo:
