Do most of these places consist of crossing bars, if so is there any bar that is the safest? Also when looking at weather coming up is there any particular website you use that seems to be the most accurate? Thanks for this mate. Good content (PS I know I’m a bit late to this post).

If you don't want to cross any bars and fish some of these southern marks like Caloundra wide and shallower which are all excellent reefs you can leave from Sandgate or bribie island and head out through the top of the bay no bars required

How far is it up there mate? Sounds like a good option. Not too many boats would try the Caloundra bar would they?

Been up to caloundra a few times leaving from scarborough or bribie. It's a pleasant trip. And yes the fishing can really turn on up there. Patches of coffee rock and weed always worth checking out, brays rock too. And I'm sure there's more to check out as you keep going out further too.

Unaware of these containers, when did that happen?!
