The mouth of the Breakfast creek is known to hold good fish. Livies, soft plastics and soft vibes are the go. Not far from where you are. It is in a nice park on the South side of the creek. On the out going tide there is an eddy there that tends to hold the Mulloway.

Bream are pretty thick anywhere. If you are land based burley up with bread. You will get catfish etc as well. These are good eating but watch the spikes as they really hurt.

Lots of options down the Gold Coast for flicking lures to Flathead. Head to Southport and have a wander around last 2 hours of run out.

Lots of options down that way for whiting and bream there too. They love worms and yabbies.

Jacks are a bit of a specialty thing. they can be caught land based but it is harder. Live baits at night are pretty good but they will take lures too.

Good luck and post up some pics for us 🙂

also have a search on AFO, especially with specific spots and I'm sure you'll find heaps of posts to have a read through that will contain lots of info and tips for those areas based on past members successes and failures.

Let us know how you get on

Cheers
