Shrimp Questions

Hey Zim man

I would not be sure, as I have only ever used them live in the Upper Brisbane River, but I would assume they would still go OK very fresh. I've still had luck on them both dead/live in saltwater, so there's no reason why you couldn't do the same in the fresh. The only problem I think might be the catfish/vermin get to them before bass...

Live baits would probably attract more activity, and attract more fish. I'm sure @rayke1938 would know - he is the shrimp-bass-meister! 🙂

Cheers Hamish

G'day Rob, Nice to hear from you.

Unfortunately I think you'd be wasting your time with dead shrimp. My experience in the fresh is they won't get a touch when dead.

A similar thing happened to me recently 😞 , but it was user error in
my case. haha

A trip to Aratula might be on the cards if you're heading that way ?? I assume you have his number ?
