Hey I looking for an auxiliary motor for my boat - I have been looking at the Suzuki or Yamaha

as they only weigh about 23kg and look perect for trolling. Light, quiet and cheap to run. Also I could use it on a canoe.

Does anyone have one they want to unload?

Could anyone suggest anything better?

Brian, anything using over 4hp needs to be registered, dunno if you can register a canoe!

But under 4 might be to small to push your big boat!

We use a Yamaha 4.5 on our boat at work we used to service the drilling rig we had next to the Hornibrook brisge, very nice motor, used daily for 5 months and never missed a beat.

brian there is a 5hp 4 stroke 2003 suzuki on ebay item number is 290029279565 auction ends tomorrow afternoon. Its a dealer who appears reputable going by his feedback .You would have to organise your own transport probably around 100 bucks unless you know someone with a courier contract.

The bidding starts off at $1199 with a buy it now price of $1400 i tried to copy the listing and send it to you in my messages but i cant get it to work.

There are a couple of late model 2 strokes a lot cheaper.
