Last walk for awhile

Decided I needed some more exercise, so went for a walk this morning.At times the grass along the bank was up to my neck and the buffalo grass kept wrapping around my  shoes and tripping  me.At least I had a soft landing, until I was on my way back along a 2 wheel track and I went for a spill, the ground was rock hard. First thing I did was to take a deep breath, this was to make sure I had no broken ribs.Got out of it with just a bit of skin and hair missing (situation normal )

I bush bashed or grass bashed for a few hours for not many bass, so going back to the tinny (47 last trip ) or the new second hand hobie outback (28 from lake K ) As soon as the body recovers.

Haven't seen too many NPD reports of late. How is the water ?

You might need to take a whipper snipper with you. lol

Hope you are not too badly hurt, rest up and I'm sure the lure of the bass will see you charging through the bush again.

Nice pics, healthy looking bass. Thanks for sharing, love reading and seeing pics/vids of others adventures and makes me feel a little bit saner knowing that I'm not the only one who injures themselves all the time charging through bush in search of bass.

Water has cleared up, might have to wait for some of the fish to grow up. Still a few biggies around though.

Is it wrong to say I'm looking forward to water level dropping a bit???  Me n my boys looking forward to throwing in redclaw pots n soaking some worms in between, bit of a buffer on the edge is always welcome.

Yes I have had some good times when the water has been a bit lower,I enjoy a stroll bankside.

Dedicated. Glad you got results after the tiltometer got such a work out. Now for the tick check... They really can get into some awkward places

I will be fishing the bank down at my sons placeback of canungra, they have the odd tick down there.
