Another busy morning.

I got out before sunrise today for a quick cod session, quick was the operative word. 

The idea was to test out a selection of Jackall TN80 and Doozer lures, I picked up. 

They apparently worked quite well, I got a couple of small 50cm cod, then hit into a cracking 80cm one. 

I got two just kissing 55cm and one 59cm keeper. 

I could have kept a 55cm one but it was too close to the line for me besides I still had one nice eater in the freezer.

Here in Qld, fishing regs prohibit us fishing directly below dam walls and weirs for a few hundred metres.

I was about 300m down from the wall, but this is one spot where you fish within 100m of it. 

Although atm it's too rough to fish that close, I've managed a few casts there, but staying for more then a few is just too wet, cold and miserable. 

Too many snags as well, gets very expensive on lures there.
