yea i have some pics laying around somewhere i have landed a 55kg kingie and 230kg marlin and a 25 pound snapper on 8 pound crystal braid 12 pound vanish leader. theyre the only decent fish i have caught ill find some photos for you all

First thing were going to teach you since your from nz is how to spell Kangaroo and Brisbane. Checked out your profile to see where you live, minor spelling mistake there. Kangaroo point cliffs would be a good start for you to fish as its local. Sorry didnt see if you were land locked or have a boat.

k fixed spelling mistakes, took me just under 45 mins to land. wats the average cost for a kayak, and do many of you guys use them often?? where would i find the cliffs and what kind of gear would be best to use

you can get viking kayaks which are a great yak from this website actually. angus sells them may want to have a look

There are a lot of members that use them a lot. They are good for fresh and salt fishing. Check out the recent "AFO VS Baroon" thread for some good kayaking pictures.
