Last time I was there we were drifting fast enough with minimal wind.

i just finished making one up incase i need it tomorrow.

it has a piece of foam attaced with zippy ties to one side and 2 sinkers and a piece of rigid wire attatched to teh opposite end to keep it open.

tested it in the pool and it works pretty good.

ill give it a swim tomorrow to truly test it out.

making a drouge up now, then I'm off to bed! Thoguht I'd get some shut eye! haha.

Using a snapper sinker to hold the bottom open, a milk bottle to hold the top, and a coat hanger to keep the sides open!

haha, wont look pretty but should do the job.

Edit: Just read fishymans - when I initially read his I thought he was doing some weird foam drouge...

Just understood his post now haha - basically identical to what I'll have!

Ok guys I'm going to give my SPs etc one last look over, make sure everything is eithe rin a nice pile to pick up and chuck in the car tomorrow morning, or is already in the car then I'll hit the sack.

HOpefully the wind isn't as bad as predicted and some pelagics are about.

Well despite the near flat conditions, the decision was made to go into the passage and not surf side. personally I think coming home would have been a lot easier surf side with the wind, but ah well:P

yeah was a good day despite the weather. I got a small cod, flattie and a grasy as well i did manage to snap a pic of angus vs a palm frond and well if i can download it you will see who won!
