queensland Hinze dam wed 13/8

Going to try the water tower ramp at hinze tomorrow. Reckon it may be a bit busy as we are not going to launch till 9am.Mixture of lures and bait. I still have 35 shrimp that I did not take to Winter camp. Amazed that they are still alive and well. Going with Graham and John.

Last week Aaron and I found them schooling on some but not all points and went both left and right of the ramp.

Didn't get a hit on a trolled lure all day and got only one on a spinnerbait cast towards the shallows near some schooling fish. The schools we found were fairly mobile, moving around in the general area which meant moments of mad action on shrimp followed by spells of inactivity.

There are some real little rats amongst them and we didn't come across any 40+ at all...hope the big ones didn't all go over the dam wall with recent rain:dry:
