Well, Since I am now a member of the Kilcoy Fishing club, I am going out for my first trip from the Club lease on Saturday morning. Got a leave pass because the missus wants to do something with her mates on Sunday, and wants me to babysit.

Launching at Snag Alley about 7ish in the morning. (about 7k up from Kirkleagh) Club members reckon the Bass have been a bit quiet, but I am happy just to get out and have a go from a new spot close to home! (This spot is only 45mins from home, closer than Baroon or MacDonald.)

Hope you can catch some fishdont know where the fish will be holding in Sommerset at the moment. Havent fished there in months from such poor results. I think we will be having another go there soon as it should fire up soon I hope it is a great spot to fish when the fish eat.

I am sure I can see a couple of yellas near the timber in the distance

The club members told me there has been a couple of the big bass boats seen up there in the last couple of weeks, so pickings must be slim in the dam if they are bothering to go up that far.
