In todays CM,boats for sale section,NMSC are calling for volunteers to take part in a national survey. They ask boaties to log details like, hours spent on water, where, why, numbers on board,etc..THE stated aim is to acheive nationally uniform marine safety practices.

I am a believer in rules and regulations,without them..chaos.

Bearing in mind survey information is shared with other agencies and available to all intrest groups eg EPA,save the??, etc.

Yes there are Richard Cranium`s on the water,as there is on the roads, every where in life, but their a minority.

We the majority, always pay, more regulations, more restrictions and financially, liscense, rego etc go up.

We already pay for boating/fisheries officers, water police etc to monitor and enforce regulations

My concerns are-is this another survey to pinpoint places where re boaters/fishing persons utilise so more areas can be cut out ooof our ever dwindling areas to enjoy. Is this to be another momoney making scheme

As I said earlier I`m not against regulation, only strangulation of of my[at present]rights
