queensland Flatties Around Lota

Can I ask what thoughts are with land-based fishing around Lota Creek in this weather?  Im not sure of fish movements with heaps water about. cheers

Hey Simo I just split this off as it seemed worth a topic of its own.

I have caught a few flatties on the flats at Lota and a few others up the creek.

Well worth a shot. Who knows with poddies etc getting flushed out the creek it could be a cracker.

ive had a couple 30cm whities and 27cm Breambo up there, want sure with this weather though, will report back in once I get soaked tomorrow!

so we ended up getting about x 30 excellent live yabbies from Manley foreshore, laughed at the rain and continued on to Lota for the arvo session onto the incoming tide.

Had absolutely nil bites in 5 hours, tried blood worms, live yabbies and flung a few lures out.

Only plus was the bloke moored in the estuary said me and my 11 year old could use his dingy anytime to go around the creeks, may take him up on that!!!!

I have had a similar experience there. I don't know what turns them on and off. I suppose I'd be a gazzzzilionair if i did haha.
