queensland Too much fresh in the fresh

It has been a bit hard to find the bass out at NPD at the moment,it seems there is too much water for them to hide in:huh: Fishing usualy slows down after an influx of fresh and sometimes can take weeks to pick up. This is not to be confused with fishing in the rain or a lead up to a storm. Its mainly after a rise of several feet. To me the water looks to be back where it was a few weeks ago at 46% but I think they are saying its only 44%.

Anyway had a few casts this morning for some very poor results, managed a couple of legal bass around 8am at the carpark next to bullockies. Never had a brag mat with me so you can judge the size for yourself. Please dont ask what I caught them on.

Certainly is a different dam this year hey Dino. Hard work to get even a couple of fish.

I fished spot #1 on Sunday and the clear bank we used to walk along is now submerged.

I'm thinking of perhaps braving a walk to Forgans this weekend.

yes mate spent an hour there the other day for nothing,the high ground at south forgans should be OK,my legs have not felt strong enough to get me that far for awhile.Wont be to long before they start schooling, maybe 3 or 4 weeks.

God I hope the level gets to 50%, I'm getting sick of beating up spiders and checking for ticks all the time.
