hey guys just wondering which reel you wud go for in 4000 size (shimano sizing)

out of stella or exist or sustain or twinpower.

I have a Twin Power 4000 and I love it.

Tecnically the Stella is better, but if you have never had a high preforming 4000 size spin reel before the twin power will save you money and never dissapoint.

a 4000 Daiwa Sol represents good value for money, also a proven work horse

SOL! haha na i have a sustain as you know never been dissaponted 11kg drag pressure same as stella its an awesome reel !

catalina are good reels, but what do you intend to target with these reels, as some reels have a drag that comes on strong very quickly.

I have a 4000 size Sustain and have used a mates 4000 sized Stella....I wish I owned a Stella.

The Sustain is great but the Stella is just a step up in quality.

How about a good brand like Penn Affinity. I have 4 in different sizes and they perform as I would expect them to.My oppo uses Stellas etc and has had problems aplenty.

Penn USA have been around for 60 odd years and have made good stuff during that time.

mate I laybuyed a twin power last week at bcf the 6000 size for $299 normal price about $420 and the 4000 was about $260-$270 only a step down from the stella but less then half the price

for that price, it would be 1 giant leap, not a step.

get the best that you can afford, stella is nice, as are the others, could also think about the fireblood 4000 which comes just under the stella (basically stella minus a couple of bearings)

Yeah I got my Dad and fireblood 4000 matched with a custom G loomis from pcsolution. Nice set up

closest thing to a stella is the saragosa and for around 300 , they feel great and have awesome drag pressure , i wish i had the dollars to buy one... but on the cheap side i like my penn applause solid metal body all the bearings and only around 100 bucks

can't go past the cr12, cr20, cr30's. feel a bit mechanical with no load on them, but load them up and they feel like they just want to be cranked right up, very smooth then. for the serious angler, hard to pass up, but expect to pay for it.

Yep, have a Branzino. Fantastic reel, the ultimate in Wank factor with a carbon spool
