resolved Latest Posts Sidebar?

Hey, is there any chance/plans of bring back the sidebar? Was much easier navigation IMO. If it's a load speed issue, I'd still say it's faster than going to the latest posts page beetween each thread?

I personally like the site without any sidebars. Webby, I think the layout is pretty good! (Would be great if the site was dynamic in width, but can't have everything!

I prefered the side bar as it was easer to keep moving foward than going back to the latest post page each time

I would like to see the sidebar back, and options to change the width! The current layout only uses half the width of a wide screen, it's a waste of AFO goodness:)

But if it was the cause of the slow response only a month ago which brought the forum almost to it's knees & made many not happy, much rather not have it.

I love the side bar aswell, Tho i find these days with more members its hard to just rely on that when theirs only 20 posts on it, maybe if u brought it back it could be 30posts? I hate going through the whole forum thing and mainly only use latest posts.

it was a valued option on the page but it is still very affective to navigate as it is?

adnit a pain to keep going to top for recent posts but its just a push of home button and a click of the mouse? my thoughts

I liked it, but don't see the point now with the tab function in the latest browsers.

I just have one tab as the latest posts and open the threads in separate tabs, then refresh the "latest posts" tab when appropriate.

I think adding the an additional "Latest Post" link to the bottom of the page would remove the need to scroll up all the time and could also be useful.

It took me a little while to get used to but now I like it without. I do what ellicat does and open multiple threads in new tabs. Does everyone know that latest posts goes for multiple pages?

i reckon by people doing this it would slow the site down again. Surely it will put more load on resources if everyone had more than 1 AFO window open.

Don't think it would make much difference as the total number of pages being opened (downloaded) wouldn't change would it ????

I do what ellicat and tacklebox do with the tabs. Sometimes I have over 20 opened at once :laugh:

I don't really mind either way. Gotten used to this, and if it's faster like this, definately keep it the way it is
