queensland north pine again

Once again Troy and I went to north pine, went for a 30 min hike to arvie at spot X. fished for about 30 mins without a hit, Then things started gettin better with a few bass landed. fish till about 7, then set up camp .

woke up at 3am packed up the tent and walked back to mcgavins view fished for about 1 hour with no bass, so it was time to go home.

Had a good time with a new pb bass landed 53.5 cms to the fork.

End total

me 10 bass ( 2 over 50 ) 50.5 and a 53.5

troy 1 jew and 15 bass ( 1 over 50) 50.4

some decent catches blokes i was jus looking on the fisheries website and it does not stipulate the measurement points ie from lip to tip or to start of fork is fork more for competitive angling

I will start another post for this querie

My 45cm Jewie. I wish I landed that Lung Fish! God they go hard and put on better aerial shows then Threadfin Salmon .

Man that place has got some big bass - well done guys

Why do tey get so big there and my local is only about 47 max? I suppose the smae reason why awoonga have giants compared to other places - but I still don't know.

like ray says - come on rain - I want the cannon ball to have a go.
