The good news is that the water is starting to clear and the fish are starting to hit shallow divers and trolled vibration lures.

Also noticed a couple of guys getting them on soft plastics ( I think) off the edges.

Also got a bucket of redclaw.

Scotland. ( John) 5 ,1 on bait and rest on crankbait that went to around 10 ft.

UK ( Jason ) 4 one on bait rest on trolled vib ( Dont know what type ).

I tried a variety of lures including a super duper daiwa that cost $29 and was gauranteed infallible. ( Just proves what a mug I am - believe anyone)Cant even remember what it is as I had to throw the box in the bin so you know who didnt see the price tag.

Tried a variety of different lures on my other rod and nothing.

( The captain gets to troll 2 rods)

The final insult was when we stopped to pull in the lures to come into the ramp and john gets another bass.

John with the first fish of the day. Cant teach him how to hold them he is too afraid of getting spiked.

Back at ramp just after 11 so a good productive morning.

We went right up the arm first up. Not much up there lots of sunken trees at the moment. Then came right back to that bank where you saw us and caught 4 in 2 drifts haha
