Nice hook, but I'd prefer a pvc coated wire trace of several metres in length.

What reel is that? It looks like a Penn International II

That's an interesting hook because a lot of Mustad 18/0's (various J style patterns) are only about this big: 180mm. Gape 73mm.

I would have guessed the hook was a 24/0
