queensland NPD 20/8 still some left

Hit double figures this morning out at NPD. It warmed up very quickly this morning and I dont know weather this had something to do with it or not. We have had it a bit tough out there for a few weeks, with only a couple of good catches recorded. Managed to do a bit of tagging this am as well. Bass were taken on lipless rattlers and shallow running HB minnows. There was quite a lot of water that never had a single showing on the sounder. One bass spewed up a reddish coloured mash. I could not see anything in it I recognized. Anyway its good to run into a few for a change.

Great to see a few being caught again. it has been a challenge finding the fish and then working out what they are currently taking.

no yellas today Dino? they seem to have been more active than the bass of late for some reason.

I hope this is the start of some good bassin action to be had with warmer waters.

Ray,Rocket and Jason I hope it lasts for awhile also and no never seen any yellas this morning but something has one of my lures in a submerged tree it could of been one.

Nice one Dino, that first fish is a chunk. I love them at that size. Heaps of power and big enough to make it interesting.

Well done on the tagging Dino you probably tagged more than Ross and I on our last 4 trips on NPD. Donut for me last trip had to fish in the pond when I got home to break it.

So do we have a tagging officer? When I checked on getting tagging gear I was told could only do it if I was a member of an affiliated club. Didn't think PRFMA were.
