Back up to the dam again this morning and had a cracker of a session.

With scenery like this you dont really need to catch anything as it is a privilege to be there.

Cannot remember exactly how many fish I caught think it was around 12 bass and one tandanus.All on bait.Took 2 bass home for a feed for John.

Redclaw were a bit thin as the sharefarmers had paid a xmas visit and forgot to pay their tythe.But checked the pots again as we left at around 9am and picked up quite a few more.

This is what Henry missed out on as I gave my share to neighbour. :blush: :blush:

Dino also cleaned up as usual.

Just cant work this place out the barometer was down and yet the fish were hungry.

very nice bass there mate. LGM took me out bass fishing at boondoomba dam yesterday in the hope i would get ym first bass. i did thank god it was only a tiny one around 20cm but i got three of them so i was all good.

Good to see its picking up, noticed a few people have been getting some, Ross got 6 0n Boxing day 1 of which had been moved back to the dam from a salvage. Going out on thursday.

Are the redclaw still in the shallows?

Saw the Pelicans working hard yesterday while I was out there.

They were that busy I was able to get pretty close before they took off.

Thats a good catch of bass as well. Good to see it picking up from the donut and <5 fish reports we'd been reading recently.

Fished NPD today worked the birds for 11 fish, best a very fat 46cm all fish caught in the basin near the boundary. Best catch card 30 fish by an old hand (not Dino for a change)on shrimp.
