Nokia n95

Hey guys,

If anyone was considering getting a new phone that does everything bar toast (exaggeration) have a dip at the Nokia N95.

I just got mine yesterday as part of the first shipment to Aus and man it is AWESOME.

5mp camera with Carl Ziess lens, GPS, dedicated music buttons, Symbian OS, 1gb included micro SD card and tweakable Symbian OS.

And it looks bloody hot too. Not too bulky either. Love my gadgets.

I will have to do something about my old nokia 5140, it is waterproof and shockproof, but will have to go to a 3G phone soon as Telstra switch of CDMA (3G replacing CDMA meaning I can actually get digital phone signal in places like Glenlyon dam!)

Sounds like it's got all the bells and whistles. I will have to run over my work phone now so they can replace it like the camera I ran over. What do you reckon boss? any chance of a new phone?

No depth sounder unfortunately....but i bet in a year or 2 there will be a phone with depth sounder bluetooth attatchment.

can you make calls on it....yup i cop that all the time...

5140?....jeez..mind you they are pretty sturdy.

haha..yeah i was considering running over my work phone to get a new one. Nokia 1112....i thinks thats the lowest any phone can go.

5mp camera....high quality shots of fish that i (never) catch.

Also the GPS....if i ever had a boat i could at least pin-point my fishing spot so i can find it again easily.

Does it have any form of optical zoom? Otherwise all those pixels are not much chop for anything but portraits..

yeah 3x optical zoom.

Does fine... Not exactly one to zoom in and catch the next time Britney forgets her undies:blink: , but enough to get a picture of a snapper.
