queensland Bass come out to play

Had another good day out at NPD yesterday,picking up 11 bass trolling early and then several more on shrimp later on. On the way down the dam managed a double hookup on brolgas in the purple colour along with quite a few on deep gidgee ripple in the same colour. Then back to one of my bait fishing spots for some shrimp for bass and to do some tagging. Got 3 double hookups while there along with quite a few singles and a couple of big catties one of which had some sort of growths on its head.

I haven't seen those Brolgas before (or can't remember :blush: ). What's the difference to the Ripples ?
