Fresh Pilly's

Hi, Does any1 know where i can pick up some fresh pilchards on the northside of brisbane?

I have not been able to find any but i think fresh would be better than frozen and i had been doing okay the past month or so with frozens but its slowed down a bit lately.

Fresh is extremely rare here, the bait we get is not fished for locally, the herring they catch here mostly gets exported.

any of the better seafood markets should have them, i don't know the northside so i can't say where. i get them from the seafood market at rocklea at the front of the brisbane produce market on sherwood rd

Morgans at Scarbrough usually have them.
