After a couple of weeks of rain and cool weather which really shut the barra down we are finally having hot humid north easterly winds during the day with afternoon storms.

This has made the barra more active and some good metre plus fish are being caught in the bays around the lower end of the lake, SDA, Boat Ramp Bay and Bird Bay. So hopefully this pattern will continue and the fishing will improve.

Water temperatures have been reaching around the 28 to 29 degrees.
