mac TUNA!!!!!!

I recently went tuna fishign with a mate. 5:00 in the morning we were at the boat ramp hoping that the tuna were near by. As we got into the i hear my mate YEAH!!!!! look at those tuna! so as we were casting repeatedly and cranking repeatedly i finally hooked up to something that felt like a train :woohoo: !0 mins later i land my first tuna which was 5 kilo and it was caught on my 2500 stradic ci4 B)

Not long after my mate hooks up to a sensational fish which also felt like a train :) he landed another 5 kilo specimen.

When iwas fighting yet another small tuna i saw a SHARK! :blink: chase my tuna. i was flippin out thinking that im gonna lose a tuna because of the shark. fortunatly i landed it with no trouble ;)

That second last photo boys..... print it, frame it and pull it out when you turn 18!! Thats what fishing memories are all about. LOVE IT

this is a quick shot of me before i got spooled off Mooloolabah a few years back :blink: *note to self* dont fish for tuna with bream gear.

just look Eug couple of months ago you were looking for your first, now look at you pair :woohoo: this young bloke is going to be really impressed. They are still around in numbers here we caught 2 the other day about the same size as in the picture then Domonic (Dhess) was blown away with what we reckoned a big wahoo lost his good lure and everything :blink:

haha good fun..all of mine were on a 2500 stradic ci4 and a 2-5 kilo starlo rod B) so it was pretty hectic. we had to chase the bigger ones

Thats sooooo good! how long did it take to land? also was it caught on a metal slug or something else?
