Be Carefull when molding

Plaster is a cheap way of molding and easy

but with all molds using lead ensure the mold is DRY any moisture will go bang not good :pinch:

I'm going to add a bit more to your post Gazza...

When using molds it helps to use a G-clamp to hold the 2 sides of the mold together while your working...

For a nice even pour heat the mold up first so its hot before pouring...

A large bucket of water is handy to have nearby so you can cool the freshly poured molds down so you can remove and start again quicker also handy if thing go horribly wrong...

Make sure the work area is in a very safe and well ventilated area...

Make sure you use safety gear, welding gear will do the job.....
