GOT TUNA?

Went out the Caloundra bar yesterday with Fonz, Caught some tuna both on 8lb braid with 10lb rock fc leader. gulp 3inch nuclear chicken with a cheep ebay jigg head and cheapie okuma reel. I will let the pic tell the story.

We chased tuna for ages before they took the sp's. There was tuna busting all over yesterday

nah no failed anything which is weird. hooks didn't bend, just took it easy with the drag during. have bent them off snags before tho. even the leader is fine after being wrapped around both fish.

all that luck means tonight i'm due for some sort of injury

it was perfect that afternoon. last 2 hours of incoming tide, 1-2ft waves which weren't consistent and very little wind. today however it was sucky

Nice work mate! We got 12 in between 75 to 85 all on slugs. If u get them in the right spots, they didn't seem to mind the slugs at all!. Got bitten off by some mackerel as well. Plenty of goodies out there for some fun !

Was certainly good weather for them at about 2pm onwards. Was rough as guts before that though!
