Fishing Pearl Channel - Any Advice

Hi Guys

Fished the lower part of the Pearl Channel last Sunday when it was flat.

Was just drifting with plastics and squid and managed to get on to a few small squire and flatties.

About an hour before sundown we were getting some rather nice big hits but then just like a lightswitch it just shut down. Not A Nibble?

I always though fishing was better a sundown and night, not in my experience (which is very limited)

Any advice would be great or stories about this channel.
