queensland Insane Broadwater Quickie

Hi Guys, well after being away all week at the Rainbow Comp i thought i would probably have to behave myself for a couple of days, wife came home from work and said she was going to yoga so i said i am going fishing.

One of the best decisions i have ever made.

A quick phone call to a work mate and we were off, being away for the week i was a little unsure where to find fish, so a bit of trolling was the way to go until we could find some bait.

Same old story find the bait find the fish and boy did we ever, found a patch and pulled 6 different species "Big Eyes, GT's, Tailor, Queenfish, Bream and a Frigate Mackeral i think".

Didn't matter what lure was put in the water they ate it, Soft Plastics, Hard Body, Blade and poppers, lost count of the number of fish caught but over 20 and we left them just as plentiful as we found them.

Took a couple of photos of the sounder to show just how many fish were there, i am sure there were bigger fish in amongst them but couldn't get a lure past the little ones to get them.

The funny thing was when i put the boat in a guy at the ramp who had been fish told me i was wasting my time, i think i might go waste some more time tonight.

My mate in the photos that looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights is Hugh our camping specialist at work, you can tell by the look on his face he was a bit surprised about all the fish he was catching. cheers wayne

great little sesh their guys. dont you love it when people say ( your waisting your time ) you got to love it when you go out their and kill them, it makes you want to see that person again and say if this is waisting my time... i hate to see a good trip....lol... their face would be priceless.

ow and with these friget macks getting caught, i put a challange out to someone to put one down live........
