a long session from 12 this arvo till 5 .

pretty tired playing with sp for such a long time but happy to be rewarded with 6 flattie. smallest goes 30cm.

i was using a 10grm jig head and gulp crawl sp. 4lb fireline and 6lb flurocarbon, 6lb test rod and a 1500 spinning reel.

started from the rock wall and managed two keepers( and i actually kept them) and the tide went up, forcing me to the harbour( in front of the iga). first cast right by the boat( 1cm and i will make the boat owner mad), a solid hit and the rod tip started to move slowly. 1..2...3.....strike! a few head shake and a good zzzzzzzz...........and....

stand there for a good 10 mintues not knowing what to do. god it's my first time fishing plastics so hard and i got a big one that....took away.

well, keep going, got another 4 40- small ones, all released. ( 1, to educate the little boys watching me fishing . 2, heard that the water's polluted so better not to get a feed inside the harbour.)

i will be back, for my first 60+ on sp.
