Bumming at home after soccer so I thought I'd compile a list of places in and around Brisbane that I've been to or where I've heard of. I hope this might be useful for those new to the site or for us who wish to have a go at somewhere other than our usual.

Apart from Shorncliffe I've only been around Brisbane city itself and am not familiar with anything further than 50km. Please feel free to add on to it or correct the list if I've gotten the suburbs or coordinates wrong.

I've also attached an Excel spreadsheet for anyone who wishes to download it.

Happy downloading and happy fishing! [file name=Fishing_Spots_in_Brisbane.zip size=3332]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/files/Fishing_Spots_in_Brisbane.zip[/file]

That's good stuff Viperon.

Just a little correction thingo. I'm pretty sure that the car/pedestrain bridge at Indooroopilly is called the Walter Taylor Bridge with that park and jetty underneath it. The Albert Bridge is the train one.

Cheers, Joel ;)

Yeah I was thinking whether to put Taylor or Albert so I picked one randomly. But I just found out that the little jetty is in a park called Walter Taylor Reserve! Thanks for the heads up anyway obone! I've thus edited the excel file!
