2hp yamaha new toy.

Got a letter from centrelink today tellong me that Johhny Howard is giving me a rise in my pension so immediatly had to spend it and a bit more in advance.

Had been looking around for a small motor to put on my canoe as the 4hp 4 stroke yamaha weighs on at 23kgs.

Saw this one on ebay for $399 and snaffled it. Item number 150160798558 if you want to have a look at it.(I dont know how to copy photos to the forum)

It is a 2001 model 2 stroke only done one hour so it still isnt run in.

Dealer i brought it from has given it a service and replaced the impeller and gear box oil, he also had to clean the fuel tank and carby as the owner had stored it with half a tank of fuel in it and it had formed jelly in the tank and carby

Only weighs 9.8 kgs so wont sink the bum of the canoe with me in it.

Only disadvantage is that it is direct drive and doesnt have a centrifical clutch so I will have to learn to use the lanyard kill switch when trolling.

Hilux duel cab.

hydrofield centre console with 115 mariner

12 ft tinny with 4 hp 4 stroke yamaha

55 bow mount minnkota

46 Stern mount motorguide.

65 stern mount minnkota.

14 ft canoe with 2hp yamaha.

You can never have enough boats.

Does it have throttle on the motor?

Funny shaped little engine, but looks clean and well kept. Should go well, let us know how it goes.

i have an identical engine on my canoe ray thay are bloody fantastic it almost planes my 10 foot canoe with single out rigger a little nosy for trolling though
