As a former competitive soccer player and then referee I can honestly say that it has gone to sh!t. So bad that I can't even bring myself to watch it now. All the unnecessary diving that goes on and what is with the added time to the end of the half. Last game I watched would have been about a year ago now and there wasn't even any stoppages for injury yet they still added 3 minutes of extra time, WTF?

No wonder why everyone thinks soccer is ghey. They guys who get paid the biggest money and are on TV are the biggest sooks of all with their bullish!t diving and then rolling around.

Even League is heading that way at the moment with all the video reviews happening from guys acting injured and then getting up once they get the penalty. Not to mention the cr@p about shoulder charges and any contact with the head (intentional or not) going on report.

Geez even this forum you can't even say cr@p!!! The whole world is going soft :dry:

Soccer would be bearable if they took the theatricks out of it, shame the nrl is starting to head the same way as gad alluded too, thankfully union is safe at this point
