i did the googling for you. http://www.baitmate.com.au/ You can also get them through Lance (Aussie123) http://www.reeltackle.com.au/index.php?option=com_ixxocart&p=catalog&mode=catalog&parent=49&Itemid=1075&CatalogSetSortBy=price_desc&CatalogSetView=Display&search_manufacturer=0

he is pretty busy at present. I think it a few weeks from order at present to supply. You will not find a better product. They have an extensive stock options or they can make a custom board for your boat.

got mine custom made through baitmate. He was really good to deal with, I dropped the boat off to him, then picked up the next day.

Have a talk to Lance at Reeltackle he helped me with my tank set up getting all the parts I needed, make sure the inflow goes to the bottom of the tank this keeps them alive a lot better those spray bars for the surface don't work at all on slimie mackerel and yakkas.

Get a stainless scoop bracket for the bottom of the pump to when mounting on the hull it helps with the pick up when moving and the boat rolling in the swell, Lance will give you all the low down it pays to get it right from the start.

Well it sounds like baitmate is very popular for custom made boards. All I really wanted was someone to weld a base, front and back in under my existing bait board. Then I was just going to put on a hinged lid on it. My board is removable with 4 wing nuts which we do all the time for when we go skiing.

I agree a perspex window on the front would be handy. Simple enough to cut a hole in the front and silicone a sheet inside. I can do all the plumbing, I just can't weld aluminum.

Ha ha, yes I am capable of using Google. I wasn't necessarily looking for a specialist manufacturer though. I just thought there might be a person on here or someone who knows someone who can weld aluminium and wants to make a few bucks on the side. What I want is a very simple job, nothing too special, just 2 bends in a sheet of aluminium and around 2 lineal metres of aluminium welding.

There are a myriad of fabrication companies around I can go to, but thought I would offer the money to a member of AFO first.

I dont think he was after a new board just a tank in his old one.

How much are you looking to spend and is the ine o the back of yours painted?

Spot on rastus. I don't have a budget, I would think 100-200 would be fair for what I am wanting done including materials and labour. Yes it is painted, but it would need to be ground off where the welds go, then I was going to blast it back and spray paint the whole thing fresh myself.

Hey mate I weld stainless alloy and carbon steel. . Unfortunately just sold my alloy welder but what I can tell you is that 150 dollars would be the average price for an average bait tank. Where abouts are you located?

The off the shelf types won't fit in where I want it to be unfortunately. I live in Bray Park, near Strathpine.
