G'day - New to forum

Hi all,

Nice forum you have here. I've been a reader for a while, and thought it's about time I joined and said hi.

I fish mostly in the salt, and am located north of Brisbane at Bray Park. That said, it's the freshwater side of things at brought me here.

I have a 7yo son, and whilst he likes the bay, it would be nice to have a windy weather option the likes of which NPD or Lake Kurwongbah provide.

I plan on moving us both into kayaks in the next couple of years, so look forward to learning all I can from you guys about fishing those locations in particular :-)

I can't help you too much on the fresh water front but we definitely have some top shelf sweet water anglers on here.

Welcome mate, im just recently purchased some second hand yaks so I will be visiting Kurwongbah a fair bit in the coming months. might see you out there when you get a yak in the future

Welcome to the site mate! Both have been productive dams lately and kayaks also allow you to sneak into plenty of other locations in bad weather like the creeks of the Bribie passage for jacks etc so good choice

 

Long time supporter of the site Freak Sports are probably your best bet value wise for a first hand yak. Drop them a line Drazen is good for a chat and mentioning you are from AFO never hurts
